Summary

  • reproduce the tscircuit/core USB-C flashlight routing regression with the captured four-component solver geometry
  • record the current runaway ground route in a full pipeline SVG snapshot
  • assert the current behavior: one long-distance trace and one label for the downward-constrained connection

Reproduction details

The fixture includes the USB-C connector, LED, resistor, switch, both three-pin power rails, label orientations, text obstacles, and the same maxMspPairDistance emitted by core.

Its identifiers are deliberately opaque. The test locates the affected connection using its existing downward-only label orientation, not identifier text or added ground metadata.

This PR intentionally contains no solver fix. The fix is provided in a second PR stacked on this reproduction.

Verification

  • bun test — 182 passed, 4 skipped
  • bunx tsc --noEmit
  • bun run format:check
  • headless pipeline render inspected
  • git diff --check
