I guess it should be in tomorrow's nightly. Can you confirm once it works and ping TC afterwards (I probably lack permission to merge this).

To TC, the MCP completed, the whole discussion around dropping it was floated for months before that, and all participants were either neutral or in favor of dropping it. We don't expect impact on many end users either. So this blog post should be uncontroversial.
