Adds an optional Files path. A folder mounted at /files becomes the posix storage root, so the files can sit on the array while Data, with the message bus, search index and accounts, stays on a pool.

  • The entrypoint sets STORAGE_USERS_POSIX_ROOT=/files when that mount exists and the variable is unset, and hands the folder (top level only) to PUID:PGID.
  • On an install that already has files in Data, the log warns on every start and points to the README.
  • README: new section "Files in a separate folder (optional)" with the steps to move existing files.

Tested on Unraid with OpenCloud 8.0.1: 2,004 uploads (4 GB) with the files on an array disk, no message bus errors, Data at 41 MB; a root-owned folder, adding Files to an existing install, and moving the old files over with rsync.

The template field is in junkerderprovinz/unraid-apps (branch opencloud-files-path) and goes live with this release.

Data holds the message bus and has to sit on a pool, which is often too small for all the files. A folder mounted at /files becomes the posix storage root, the wrapper hands it to PUID:PGID, and the log warns when old files are left behind in Data.
