Closing this one: the bump it proposes is partial, and its green run does not mean what it looks like.

This pull request updates the root yarn.lock only. The Cypress suite lives in tests/, a separate yarn project with its own lockfile, so nothing here has ever run a test against @jahia/cypress 8.4.0. The checks passing say the module still builds — not that the suite still passes.

It does not, and that is now measured. #461 raises the dependency in both places, and one test fails reproducibly on 8.4.0: Forms - 61 Login form (footer) > shows the back-office login entry to anonymous visitors. Restoring the previous helper while keeping the bump reproduces it, so the version is the cause. Reported as Jahia/jahia-cypress#251.

Merging this would leave the root on 8.4.0 and the suite on 8.2.1 — the very split that hid the problem. Better to bump both once the upstream issue is resolved. Renovate will raise this again; that is fine, and this note explains why it should wait.
