Summary
Align hosted and offline documentation dark mode with Zylon's current warm stone frontend theme. Light mode and article content remain unchanged.
Why
The docs retained near-black surfaces and gold/purple highlights while the frontend uses warm neutrals and light neutral accents.
Implementation
Use the frontend's default
.darkpalette for surfaces, text and borders. Scope hosted overrides to dark mode, remove its decorative glow, and align offline search and navigation states. Add theme-maintenance guidance.Actual browser comparisons from the same pages and viewports:
Tests
git diff --checkpython3 scripts/check-doc-versions.pypython3 -m unittest discover -s scripts/tests— 7 passed.npm --prefix offline test— 15 passed.npm --prefix offline run build— 886 pages, 466 redirects.node .codex/validation/docs-theme.mjs— both renderers at desktop/tablet/mobile in both themes; 60 article combinations, 30 identical light screenshots, preserved text/heading geometry, painted code surfaces and preserved syntax colors, plus navigation, search, tabs, accordions, locale menus and offline theme persistence.Independent Quality review approved

Hosted search results need a deployed preview; external flag assets were blocked during captures. Review focus: dark-only scoping, Mintlify decoration hooks, and offline theme tokens.
