#Welcome to the FlowR wiki!

#Introduction FlowR is open-source, advanced and cross-platform task manager, habits control and time-tracker platform. With FlowR you will never forget about your daily tasks and habits just because FlowR will be integrated to everything around you.

#Motivation But why we need this?

FlowR will:

  1. Track your task from all devices, tools and programs you like and combine them! For example: want to go out running every Monday? Create a repetition task on Monday and install plugin that will integrate your FlowR account to Fit Bracelet, Android step tracking or Endomondo. Task will be automatically track your progress and report when you're done.
  2. Be opened to everyone. API will be well-known and simple so everyone can write plugins that they need. You are a programmer and want to be more productive at coding? Just create a habit for 10 GIT commits per day and than integrate your IDE (or write your own sript/plugin) that will report your progress to our API.
  3. Change your daily bad-habits and 'all well known' procrastination using Getting Things Done technique:
  • Prioritize and estimate your tasks
  • Track time of your tasks, then using your history you can predict future similar tasks. Recently you underestimate this? FlowR will be know it and let you know.
  • If task is too overall and to big to plan just split it with one click, adjust new estimates and time, flow of task (dependency control: I need A to do B, but A nad C can be done in parallel)
  1. Track time of your task using two techniques:
  • Pomodoro technique: plan and track your tasks in pomodoros- 20-25min intervals with 5 min break (most productive).
  • Normal technique: plan and track your tasks in normal time estimation.
  1. Categorize your life with 'boxes'. You can create 'boxes' for your life, work, wedding etc. Than asign a tasks to it.
  2. Have a special 'box' for your ideas and future projects so you can track them also.

Most important all of those is combined into just one platform. There are many similar projects on the web but none of them had this advanced functionality and you must have a lot of accounts to achieve what FlowR has.

And of course FlowR will be open source!
