TinlabML Genetic Driver

This repository contains a minimal SCR client and a training dataset. The genetic_driver.py module implements a simple linear controller whose weights are evolved with a genetic algorithm. Use train_genetic.py to evolve a genome.json from the data in train_data/ and then run the client with the trained driver:

python3 train_genetic.py --out genome.json
python3 client.py --driver genetic_driver:GeneticDriver --genome genome.json

The driver continues to mutate its weights during a race, rewarding policies that keep the car close to the centre of the track and facing the correct way.
