Hey, I'm Scott

Backend engineer by day, musician by night. Somewhere in between, I make things.

You can find more of me at scottcurt.is.

What I work on

  • Day job: Java, Java, and more Java. Occasionally Python, TypeScript and Go when nobody's looking. Lots of cloud development on Kubernetes/OpenShift. Behind the firewall - not for your eyes.
  • Previously: More Java, C, x86 Assembler, and lots of observability stuff & GitOps CI/CD.
  • On the side: The fun stuff. Music tools, LLM integrations, and a social music discovery platform. Also not for your eyes yet.

  • dotfiles: portable dev config, so every machine feels like home.
  • Rack2Digitakt: quick and dirty script to move Ableton rack samples onto Elektron machines. I love my Digitakt.
