Description

PRs against master or *-rc branches run short RIT test suite by default
After merge, on push full suite is executed and result reported in slack
Short or full test suites can be manually executed from Actions tab in github
Suite to run can also be determined in the PR description. "test-suite:short" or "test-suite:full"

Pull request overview

Updates the Rootstock Integration Tests (RIT) GitHub Actions workflow to differentiate between PR validation and post-merge branch validation, enabling a faster default PR suite while still running the full suite on branch pushes and allowing manual/PR-description overrides.

Changes:

  • Adds push trigger for master and *-rc branches and introduces workflow-level concurrency (cancel in-progress PR runs).
  • Introduces a test-suite input and logic to default PRs to a short suite (with PR-description override) while keeping push/manual runs on the full suite.
  • Refactors Slack notification context so notifications can cover both PRs and pushes with the appropriate title/link.
