Installation

You can get Talon Talon from here.

Run Via PowerShell (Express Method)

Talon can be ran via PowerShell. This is a great choice if you're more tech savvy and/or you don't want to deal with the difficulties of Windows Defender. Open PowerShell as Administrator, then run the following command:

irm https://debloat.win | iex

Run Talon as an Executable (Manual Method)

For those who wish to have more granular control over what happens on their system. Follow these steps:

  1. Temporarily set C: as an exclusion in Windows Defender. This temporarily disables action from Defender to avoid interference with Talon mid-process, and avoid issues or corruption. REMOVE THE EXCLUSION AFTER INSTALLING TALON!

  2. Head to the download page for Talon and select "Manual," which will provide an option to download Talon.

  3. Once downloaded, extract the ZIP, locate Talon.exe, and run it.

Compile From Source

To compile from source, make sure you have Python 3.12.4, install the necessary libraries from requirements.txt, then run build.bat. Please note that, when building from source, you are building the absolute latest version of the code (even newer than the most recent release)!
