I was just wondering if FENCE() implementation is planned/possible?
Almost all examples from spitbol's manual don't work with Coppen's implementation of FENCE function.
Coppen already noted this (as you're certainly aware):
In the system implementation of FENCE(), alternatives really are discarded[, here] all alternatives to P are tested
(possibly causing all kinds of side effects). This shortcoming will be most problematic if alternatives within P
involve ABORT, FENCE, unevaluated expressions and unconditional value assignment.
