Feature request - add option 'run now'

Hi - be great if there was the option to 'Run now' (like Feed Me has 'Run feed') on the schedule list, so a new schedule can be added and tested without having to wait until the first timer is triggered.

Thank you! As you described, testing the new schedule is indeed necessary. This plugin operates similarly to Crontab, triggering a timer every minute, relying on the system’s Crontab or the schedule/listen command. To make the new schedule run immediately, you can either use PHP-FPM, shorten the sleep time of schedule/listen, or place it in the task queue. However, each of these approaches has noticeable drawbacks. If you have a better solution, I would be happy to consider adding that feature.

Hi - good points.

TBH what I'm really after is the ability to trigger the command immediately, rather than to 'test it'.
An example is there's a schedule set up to run once a day. If something happened and that actual command failed (nothing to do with the scheduler plugin) - say the external service the command was connecting to was down, and we needed to re-run it.

So - it would be very similar to vendor/panlatent/schedule/src/console/SchedulesController::actionRun, but it would be in vendor/panlatent/schedule/src/controllers/SchedulesController.php and would require the $eventId

If no new features are added, the existing testing method is to add an additional timer, such as one minute later, and then delete it.

I guess you want is error retry when the schedule failed. Of course, this may also mean triggering an event, such as sending a notification.

The above feature is a function that is prepared to be added in the new version, but I have not been working on it for a quite long time. If this is what you want, I will consider continuing to develop it.
