Installation Files on Server Side

In README file;
at step 4- Configure your database in dbconnect.php : No such file but 'Database.php' exists in the server side source code

at step 5- Set up the database by visiting: http://your-server/gpstracker/install.php; No such file exists in the server side source code.

Thank you for reporting this issue and for your interest in the GpsTracker project! I apologize for the outdated instructions.

I've made several updates to fix these issues:

What's Changed

1. Updated README: The installation instructions have been completely updated to reflect the modern configuration approach used in version 7.

2. Environment Variables:

   • The project no longer uses dbconnect.php for database configuration
   • Configuration now happens through the .env file using environment variables
   • I've added a .env.example file as a template for setup

3. Database Setup:

   • There is no longer an install.php script to visit
   • SQLite is the default database option (automatically creates a DB file)
   • For MySQL/PostgreSQL, I've included the SQL schema in the README for manual setup

How to Get Started

The new installation process is much simpler:

1. Clone the repository and copy files to your server
2. Copy .env.example to .env in the servers/php directory:

   # Navigate to the PHP server directory
   cd servers/php
   
   # Copy the example file to create your configuration
   cp .env.example .env
   
   # Edit with your preferred editor
   vim .env

3. For SQLite (default), the database file will be created automatically
4. For MySQL/PostgreSQL, manually create the database and tables using the schema in the README

Example Configuration

The .env.example file (located in the servers/php directory) provides a template with all available options:

# Application Settings
APP_NAME="GPS Tracker"
APP_ENV=production

APP_TIMEZONE=UTC

# Database Configuration - SQLite (default)
DB_DRIVER=sqlite
DB_SQLITE_PATH=sqlite/gpstracker.sqlite

Thanks for your quick reply.
I am working with Eclipse as an editor and XAMPP for test environment. I couldn't start up the project for some more issues. For convenious could you tell me your developmet envirioment.
