I experienced a problem on a windows machine with many virtual machines reserving multiple ethernet interfaces (~8 or more showing using ipconfig).
In this case, dns-sd was capable of receiving mdns packets and detecting the external device sending them but not this library.
Tests were run on the same machine.
Sadly, it was not my machine and I did have a short access to it.
But I can confirm the problem in this maybe "stress test" of many ethernet addresses.
