Recovery corrections
Follow-up to merged #291. Keeps execution lifetimes separate from scientific completion, and corrects genuine recovery regressions found by the full execution-chain suite.
Validation
Focused actual execution checks: 29 passed, 66 passed, and 15 owner/reconciliation checks passed (individual suites overlap; counts are not added). Includes actual SQLite and PostgreSQL APIs, workers, managed processes, backup/restore and independent concurrency verification. Independent reviewer ran five exact-head checks with zero skips. Full isolated locked-dependency suite is finishing on d66bc83.
No paper experiment results are included. #292 is the separate scientific runtime follow-up and currently depends on this branch. This PR is ready for owner review and is not a draft.
Final exact-revision validation
Commit d66bc83 passed the PostgreSQL-enabled full suite: 1,534 passed, 17 skipped, 1 warning (1,160.98 seconds). Five additional independently executed PostgreSQL/process/restore regressions passed. Independent review: ACCEPT, HIGH confidence, zero blocking or non-blocking findings. Training/supervisor runtime is separately in PR #292.
