SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token in node modules

1. tried removing node modules
2. tried cleaning the cache
3. tried installing again
   Every time trying to run through npm or yarn i am getting this syntax error.
   Sometimes it is unexpected number error, Invalid or unexpected token : and ,
