Renaming a file stops after first character if the window is just small enough for a scrollbar to appear #3755
If a Nemo window is just small enough for a scrollbar to appear, but not much smaller than that, and you try to rename a file, renaming stops after typing the first character.
Steps to reproduce
Set up a Nemo window that looks something like this, small enough for the scrollbar to show up but as big as possible other than that:
Select a file (it seems to work with any file) and press F2 to start renaming it.
Type a new filename with more than 1 character. It will stop renaming after the first character is typed.
Expected behavior
It should allow you to type in a full filename instead of just 1 character.
Additional information
If you press F2 after pressing alt-tab but before pressing any other keys, it exits the renaming immediately instead of letting you type a character.
This doesn't happen if the scrollbar doesn't appear, or if the window is resized small enough (I don't know the exact threshold).

This issue also occurs for me in Debian 14 Testing (aka Forky) with Cinnamon 6.6.9 with Nemo 6.6.4. I'm glad to know that re-sizing the window is a workaround, because I could not figure out what was causing the behavior and resorted to renaming via the CLI.

Encountered this same issue with Linux Mint 21.3, Cinnamon 6.0.4 and Nemo 6.0.2
