Do you know what's calling this function? I suspect the right answer here is making sure this function isn't even called in the first place instead of preventing the directory from being made. |

Sure, I tried poking a bit, but it is called from multiple places on startup, so decided to go nuclear instead.. |

Let's prevent the forced creation of that unused config dir under OS user appdata etc.
