A collection of agent skills for Halo developers, designed to help AI agents assist with building themes, plugins, and other Halo ecosystem components.
Agent skills give AI agents (like Cursor and Codex) task-specific workflows. These skills identify the target Halo version, fetch only the relevant official Markdown documentation, and keep non-obvious development constraints close to the task. A skill can include:
- A
SKILL.mdentry point with documentation routing and workflow guidance - optional
assets/with ready-to-use starter templates
Skills are installed via the Skills CLI:
# Install globally (available across all projects)
npx skills add halo-dev/dev-skills@halo-theme-dev -g
npx skills add halo-dev/dev-skills@halo-plugin-dev -g
# Or install into the current project only
npx skills add halo-dev/dev-skills@halo-theme-dev
npx skills add halo-dev/dev-skills@halo-plugin-devA version-aware workflow for creating, modifying, debugging, and packaging Halo themes. It retrieves current documentation from the theme Markdown index on demand.
