Meeting Notes 2015.10.08

With the Trolley Tracker app in beta the group discussed other potential idea.

We more or less decided that an events API is too large and not sufficiently interesting for the core group of CFG members. So, we're going to expand the open data API to include other data sets based on things members want to work on. Ideas included taking existing data like free Wi-Fi spots, https://joinopenworks.com/r/wifi

Also, locations of interests like mills, parking and parks were mentioned as things which might be useful for a wide variety of projects and also tie in with the Trolley Tracker.

We'll be collecting ideas, voting and commenting on ideas at https://codeforgvl.imaginethat.io/codeforgvl and decided on more concrete to-dos for an upcoming Oct 20th 2015 hack night.
