Expand The API Endpoints to Allow for More Filtering #189
Some pages, for example the eventual player page, would benefit from being able to filter more on the players api endpoint. For example, searching for stats for one player, across all seasons that player is present.
I am proposing updating the api to allow for filtering the return array based on any field that makes sense. We probably do not need to support filtering on all fields (example: all players with 4 goals) but searching across seasons and leagues would be helpful for our pages and end users of the API.
This is going to be implemented, but our database doesnt allow for querying of a single player's stats (across seasons). We need a unified id system across leagues in order to implement this. We could probably implement a temporary endpoint to handle this, but only current stats will be possible. I'm hoping we can have career stats eventually
