Windows Import Error [v3.0.0, DLL Load Failed]

The current conda-forge build for windows fails to import on a clean installation in a dedicated environment. See attachments for system information and errors. Doing a bit of digging, the issue is the pykep dll is unable to find several other dependent libraries:

• kep3.dll
• heyoka.dll
• boos_serialization.dll
• fmt.dll

This is strange. I do not have access to a win system, but the conda-forge builds worked and run the tests.

Can you look for those dll in your system and check whether they are somewhere?

Did some more digging. All the DLLs I listed in my previous comment were indeed present and being found. The issue was a missing openblas.dll dependency of the kep3.dll. I was able to successfully import after manually doing conda install openblas in my environment.

@dtrent87 It may be that the conda recipe is off:

Here it seems we are not having openblas installed at runtime in windows ... maybe restoring it will fix this issue.
Strange though (I actually do not really understand deeply how conda works) as that dependency is not there at build time, nor when the package is tested. How come conda does not flag an error and is able to run tests and all? mah.

Will keep this open and at the next release on cona will try to remember and fix.
