BB10 browser not storing personal schedule

Whilst at the recent Nine Worlds con, I noticed that my Blackberry was forgetting my personal schedule whenever the page reloaded (which happens automatically far too often). I tracked it down to it throwing an exception when trying to access localStorage so it's using the internal storage provided by VarStore() instead of making use of sessionStorage which works just fine.

Would it be possible to expand out the code that sets up the storage so that it also tries the session storage in the event of local storage throwing an exception? Something maybe like this:

  this.store = localStorage || sessionStorage || (new KonOpas.VarStore());
} catch (e) {
  try {
    this.store = sessionStorage || (new KonOpas.VarStore());
  } catch (e) {
    this.store = new KonOpas.VarStore();
  }
}
