Developer options are enabled by going to `Settings > About Microsoft Edge > Privacy and Terms` and tapping the version number five times. In developer options the extension can be installed using its id `hdkjgmbkdljifoabcjaopefegogcinal`. Once installed you can press on "Add to Phone" button in Edge Canary to have it as a standalone app.
