The
has_downloadsflag returned by the Github API has no relation to releases and is deprecated since 2012. It seems that GitHub has now switched it to always befalse(instead of alwaystrue).The
_createWindowmethod does always check if there are releases available and does show anoReleasesYeterror message as before.
