Chats whose project folders are missing now remain visible, searchable, selectable, and readable, while project-dependent UI and new provider work resolve the current directory only when needed. The change adds a typed resolution API and frontend lease store, fresh admission before direct work, queue creation, and dequeue, and clears pending user and internal control input after a successful project-path change; server and client must ship together because the chat-list and project-path WebSocket contracts remove their persisted canonical identity fields.
