💡 What: Refactored the dashboard-projects-health API route to check the status of multiple dev servers concurrently instead of sequentially. 🎯 Why: The previous implementation used a sequential for...of loop, which caused the API to wait for each server's disk I/O and port check before starting the next. This created a performance bottleneck when monitoring multiple projects. 📊 Impact: Reduces the total wait time for dev server checks from O(N) to roughly O(1) (the longest single check), significantly speeding up the dashboard load time. 🔬 Measurement: Verify the dashboard loads faster when multiple projects are present, or use a performance profiler on the /api/dashboard-projects-health endpoint. Refactored
dashboard-projects-health.tsto execute asynchronous operations like disk reads and local port listening checks concurrently rather than sequentially. By mapping the array to Promises and initiating them upfront, it cuts down the total API wait time from the sum of all I/O queries down to the duration of the longest single query.
