Authentication and authority

API key. Fields: coh_management_key, coh_application_key, written to project-local .cohesivity by npx @cohesivity/init. Hosts: cohesivity.ai, *.cohesivity.app. Scope: one ephemeral tenant per project.

Privacy and data handling

Deployed source, DB contents, and stored files reside on Cohesivity. Ephemeral tenants expire after 72h.

Install, disable, and uninstall behavior

Install loads the pinned skill (cohesivity-skill@13e0057). Disable unloads it. Uninstall removes the plugin and .cohesivity. Tested on Terminal; Desktop not tested.

Failure behavior

Missing credentials: bootstrap runs, failure is reported. Offline or provider error: HTTP error surfaced, agent stops, no retry, secrets redacted.

Core boundary

• The plugin can be installed and removed without changing Agentlas Core.
• The plugin activates only after an explicit user choice and is not mounted by a default or full loadout.
• This proposal contains no credentials, private paths, logs, tests, fixtures, benchmark assets or results, screenshots, or internal plans.

Follow-up to #20 — thanks for the detailed review. Fixed the URL swap and pinned the skill as suggested.

Thanks for the proposal, and for the follow-up after #20. Cohesivity Backend is now listed on the Agentlas Hub:

Agents can also find it through agentlas_resolve_plugins. It comes back as an installable result for needs like "ephemeral postgres backend", and it's only installed if the user approves.

How we listed it:

• Connection: hosted MCP at https://cohesivity.ai/mcp (streamable HTTP). We tested it today: initialize and tools/list work without auth and return six tools (get_cohesivity_documentation, create_tenant, claim_tenant, tenant_status, provision_resource, give_feedback). The https://cohesivity.ai/mcp/manage endpoint in the proposal README now returns 410 (retired), so we didn't use it.
• Auth: shown as "no account needed". Sign-in is optional, for account-owned tenants.
• Capabilities: Read, Write, and Interactive (the claim approval URL). The listing says that data lives on Cohesivity and that unclaimed tenants expire after 72 hours.
• Skill: the Hub entry installs the MCP connection only. We don't republish third-party skill bodies, so the pinned cohesivity-skill@13e0057 is linked from the listing as the source repo.

Two small things to check on your side:

• plugin.json says "license": "Apache-2.0", but GitHub reports cohesivity-org/cohesivity-skill as MIT.
• The README's MCP section still points to the retired /mcp/manage URL.
