So I made this little cyberpunk themed macro pad, mostly because I wanted something dedicated for Geometry Dash and Osu!, but it also doubles as a pretty handy shortcut pad for normal desktop use. Here is the components thats made into it: An OLED screen for animations (bongo cat) or keys pressed! A rotary encoder (the knob) for volume and scrolling. 3 Cherry MX switches because you need that responsive feel for the rhythm games, or quick actions!.
The hardest part of the build This was my first time really messing around with Onshape to design the case. If you have ever done 3D modeling, you probably know the pain, but for me, the absolute worst part was figuring out filleting. Trying to round out the sharp edges so it didn't look like a literal brickwithout the software completely throwing an error and breaking the whole model, took way more trial and error than I care to admit.
But it finally came together, and it looks pretty clean.
