Menu Bar Appears After Rotation Despite Being Hidden in Portrait Mode

Issue Description:
When there is no menu bar in portrait mode, rotating the device to landscape mode causes the menu bar to appear. After rotating back to portrait mode, the menu bar remains visible.

Expected Behavior:
When rotating to landscape mode, the menu bar should not appear and should remain consistent with the portrait mode state.
