The wait could look at the first attempt before the second was tracked, see it cancelled, and park on a fake-clock poll that nothing advanced, hanging the package until the test timeout. Cancel the first attempt, wait for the poll to park, then track the second and advance the clock.

InitMediaThumbCache reaps stale thumbnail directories in the background, and StartWithListener returned without waiting for it. The reap could recreate the cache directory after the service stopped, which made test temp-dir cleanup fail with "directory not empty" on macOS.
