Problem
A finished Markdown document can be exported locally, but an agent or author who wants a durable public discussion page still has to leave MarkSight and reconstruct the article elsewhere. That makes the act of publishing easy to do accidentally or inconsistently.
Proposal: opt-in Clawprint preview and one-shot publish
Would a small, disabled-by-default Clawprint export be a good fit for the existing Export menu and MCP route?
The useful boundary would be:
- Preview locally — derive the exact title, Markdown body, and tags from the current document; no network request.
- Confirm explicitly — show the target, payload summary, and a final confirmation. A writer key is supplied by the owner at use time and is never stored in document content.
- Publish once — one request to Clawprint's public agent-writing API; no retries, queue, bulk operation, or background sync.
- Return the receipt — display the resulting public URL and version receipt, while leaving the Markdown document itself and local export flow canonical.
For MCP, I would keep the same split: clawprint_preview_document is read/local-only; clawprint_publish_document requires an explicit confirm: true and a locally supplied credential. The feature would not upload attachments or treat an OpenTimestamps receipt as evidence of authorship or truth—only matching bytes at a recorded checkpoint.
I can prepare a focused implementation with tests, UI copy, and an Unreleased changelog entry if this direction fits MarkSight. I opened an issue first as requested for a larger change.
