Rchive

Capture everything.

Rchive is a simple, offline-first note taking app built with Flutter. It is made for people who just want to write, organize notes, and keep everything on their own device without creating an account or depending on the internet.

Why I made this

Most note apps today need an account, sync your data, or include features that many people never use.

I wanted something that is simple, fast, private, and works completely offline. Your notes belong to you, not to a cloud service.

Rchive is my attempt to build that.

Features

  • Offline first
  • Fast and lightweight
  • Clean and distraction-free interface
  • Local storage
  • No account required
  • No ads
  • No tracking
  • Free to use

More features will be added in future updates.

Download

At the moment, Rchive is not available on the Google Play Store. Please download it only from the GitHub Releases page. This is the only official place where I publish builds.

Privacy

Rchive works completely offline.

  • Your notes stay on your device.
  • No account is needed.
  • No data is collected.
  • No analytics or tracking.
  • Nothing is uploaded anywhere unless a future feature clearly asks you to do it.

Your data is yours.

Is it safe?

Yes.

The app is completely free and safe to use. The source code is public, so anyone can inspect how it works.

Roadmap

Some things I am working on:

  • Markdown support
  • Better search
  • Import and export
  • End-to-end encryption
  • More customization
