How do I open this? (Compile/Build) (GitHub Beginner)

Hello, I'm unsure of how to run / open this app, because this is just the source code, and there are no releases of this app available.
I'm struggling to find any tutorials / instructions on how to compile any app from source. I don't know if this app will work, since I'm on MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559)on an Intel CPU Mac, and cDock keeps crashing my Dock, even on a new User (for testing purposes!). I am sure compiling and building is an easy task, but I'm un-able to find any tutors / videos regarding this topic for MacOS. I hope you can resolve my question, without much, if any hassle.

This is not something the end user would run. This simply prevents the Dock from crashing when loading the APPKIT framework on newer versions of macOS.
