• cron/evolution/hydra.yaml documents the naming convention (tick1 == base
  file; tickN for N >= 2) and mandates an existence check before reading a
  dispatch artifact — no more guessing tick1.json.
• New scripts/evolution_dispatch_paths.py is the single path-template
  constant for reader and writer (no drift possible).
• NOTE: the deployed skill copy
  ~/.hermes/skills/evolution/evolution-pipeline/ on the host should adopt
  the same convention (host-side operator action, outside this repo).
• Selected by analysis phase 2-github-aware-merged (2026-08-26).

✅ Ready for merge — evolution pipeline (CI green, reviewed)

• CI: 33 pass / 15 skipping / 0 fail on the updated branch (main merged in, bd070a3).
• Review: naming-convention fix matches live ground truth — host artifacts are hydra-dispatch-{date}.jsonl (base, tick1) with per-tick snapshots for N>=2 only; no -tick1.json exists, confirming the reader/writer mismatch in fix(watchdog): grace period for never-ran jobs younger than their cadence #119. Prompt-level convention + canonical path helper (scripts/evolution_dispatch_paths.py, referenced from the hydra prompt) resolves it.
• Minor: in-code comments reference "fix(register): refresh installed no_agent scripts for already-registered jobs #120" (branch naming) but issue fix(register): refresh installed no_agent scripts for already-registered jobs #120 does not exist — cosmetic only; the target is fix(watchdog): grace period for never-ran jobs younger than their cadence #119 per the title. Blocked (integration gate): does not close a real, open issue. 'Closes #119' references #119, a MERGED PR ('fix(watchdog): grace period...') unrelated to hydra dispatch, and the body's 'Closes #' is empty — no open issue exists for this.
To fix: create a real issue for the hydra dispatch tick1 naming convention, then re-open a PR with a correct 'Closes #NN'. The code change itself (path-template constant + docs) is fine — only the issue reference is wrong.
