I have updated the citation file (using https://bit.ly/cffinit as suggested by the carpentries) to see whether that resolves anything (issue #3).Did some testing on a fork and a freshly created repository from the template, and removing the citation file all together seems to resolve one of the issues (this is also done for the microscopy novice workshop). Should hopefully resolve #3 or at least part of it.
