We are currently going through a SWELL documentation sprint and I'm noticing the lack of information about the Observing System Records.
- How are available channels created, in other words

- Accessing IODA Obs not in R2D2
- How to add a new observer in SWELL
- How to test a new observer in SWELL
@ahrem1234 is asking me lot of good questions about these which need to be addressed in the documentation. Some people who worked on these are not here anymore so @gmao-wgu and/or @gmao-yzhu how would you like to go about this?
I know @rtodling has a GEOS/JEDI workflow but this type of steps are essential in terms of adaption of SWELL workflow. Some of these questions might be answered during the spring.
