Adds an algorithm that detects snow from Sentinel-2 L2A imagery as an openEO UDP, using the Normalized Difference Snow Index (NDSI) as the primary indicator, with the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) as an additional constraint for borderline pixels. The openEO process is adapted from a SentinelHub Snow Classifier evalscript. Pixels classified as snow render in a light beige color, while non-snow pixels keep a brightened true-color appearance.
The openEO process is running on Copernicus Data Space over the spatial extent of Bovec, Slovenia on 2019-10-26 to 2019-10-30.
