Regulatory intelligence (dataset)

Public, community-friendly source for the regulatory signals shown on the Clewline regulatory map and tracker.

Each regulation is one YAML file under data/regulations/. Pull requests welcome.

Validate locally

npm ci
npm run build

This runs scripts/build-regulations.js, validates every file, and writes data/regulations.json (ignored by git). Fix any errors before opening a PR.

Relationship to clewline.com

The live site bundles a copy of this dataset and rebuilds regulations.json at deploy time. After your change merges here, Clewline updates the website repo to match (or you can open a follow-up PR there with the same YAML). If something on the map looks stale, open an issue.

By contributing, you agree your contribution is provided under the repository licence so it can power the map and related Clewline materials.
