More subtle effect

I like this effect on the W, but I think it should be toned down and be more subtle. Kind of like the ripple effect in the background when you start a new site — I like that one!

Thanks for the suggestion. We're happy with the current effect and don't plan to change it, so I'm closing this. If it turns out to be distracting in real use, we can revisit.
