I'm André Pinheiro, B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Minho.

About Me

I have a passion for problem-solving and maths in general. My main hobbies are drawing, solving problems and learning new stuff. My long-term goals are to enjoy a research career and look for good results in ICPC :)

  • 2023 - Bronze medal in the Portuguese Mathematical Olympiad.
  • 2023 - Attended Projeto Delfos, a school for math olympiad preparation. This involved attending monthly problem-solving training camps at weekends at the University of Coimbra during my high-school years.
  • 2023 and 2024 - Attended Associação Tempos Brilhantes as a Chess Teacher of elementary school students.
  • 2024 - Participation, as a team member, in the ACM-ICPC (International Collegial Programming Contest) South Western European Regional Contest (ranked 86th).
  • 2025 - Prémio Caixa Geral de Depósitos, as the student who finished the 2023/2024 in Science School with the highest GPA (18.5/20).
  • 2025 - Bolsa de Excelência, as the student who finished the 2023/2024 of BSc in Computer Science with the highest GPA.
  • 2025 - Attended INESC TEC Summer Internships. The topic of internship was about Hamiltonian Monte Carlo for the generation of adversarial examples.
