A Python package to process and analyze data from the Measuring Directivity to Determine Electron Anisotropy (MeDDEA) instrument on the NASA solar PolArization and Directivity X-Ray Experiment (PADRE) small satellite mission.

PADRE launched on July 23rd, 2025. MeDDEA began taking data around Nov 2025.

Data

MeDDEA data can be found on the NASA SDAC at https://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/padre/padre_meddea as soon as it is downlinked from the spacecraft.

We also maintain a MeDDEA Flare list.
