…oven on-device (#95) The Kotlin side of the native backend: decode the VDL1 display list from libVinculumAndroid.so and draw it on an android.graphics.Canvas. No font on the Kotlin side — the display list carries every glyph as filled outlines. PROVEN ON-DEVICE. On an API-34 x86_64 emulator, the full pipeline renders the quadratic formula `x = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}` to a correct 240×90 PNG — fraction bar, radical with a stretched vinculum over b²-4ac, ±, superscript, all in display style: Kotlin VinculumNative.render → JNI → vinculum_render_displaylist (Swift: parse → TeX layout → FreeType outlines) → VDL1 bytes → VinculumWire.decode (15 ops) → SceneRenderer.draw(canvas). Logged: decoded ops=15 w=223.6 h=73.1, WROTE 240x90. - VinculumWire.kt — the VDL1 decoder, the Kotlin twin of Swift DisplayListWire (little-endian ByteBuffer; untrusted counts capped; nil on bad magic/truncation). - SceneRenderer.kt — fills paths + rects on a Canvas, one y-flip (scene y-up, baseline origin → canvas y-down). quad/cubic control-vs-endpoint order matched to Path.quadTo/cubicTo. - VinculumNative.kt — the JNI binding (renderBytes/setFontDir/abiVersion), loads the .so, decodes to a DisplayList. - demo/ — the on-device proof harness (DemoActivity + the JNI shim) and a README with the reproducible manual build (kotlinc → d8 → aapt2 → apksigner) until the Gradle/AAR packaging (#84) lands. Caught and fixed before it ran: the FillPath decode branch read segs before rgba (Kotlin evaluates args left-to-right, but the wire is rgba-then-segs) — flipped to match. Verified by the correct on-device render. This is real, compiled, executed Kotlin — kotlinc → dex → APK → emulator. The Compose flagship (#81), View/span (#82), Markwon (#83), and Gradle/AAR + a JVM wire-fixture test (#84) build on this. Refs #80.
