My name is James and I am most interested in using computers to help build a better world with AI/ML technologies and stopping AI/ML from making the world worse
I am currently a Master of AI student at Victoria University of Wellington.
Very interested in AI safety (technical alignment and mis-alignment evaluation) and making sure the next step change in intelligence leads to an increase in survival and flourishing of humans.
Keen to hear about any projects and ideas in this space that I could be of use.
My website (that I endeavour to write on more often!).
