Problem Statement

The dashboard was intended to meet these goals:

• provide transparency and insight into 18F work for anyone who is curious about what we do
• provide a single place for both internal and external stakeholders to find up-to-date info on 18F projects

We have observed that the dashboard website isn’t:

• kept up-to-date
• providing useful insight into 18F work
• providing clear indicators of where projects are in their development cycles

which is causing these adverse effects:

• external stakeholders don't know what we do and why it is important
• internal stakeholders have trouble tracking the scope of 18F work

measurable criteria for success:

• dashboard information is current
• the dashboard becomes a generally-accepted source of information on 18F work
• team members feel confident sending people to the dashboard to get an understanding of what 18F does
