TryPost already has an asset library with built-in media search, which is a strong foundation. This feature request proposes expanding that into a fully featured media manager that gives teams, agencies, and multi-brand workspaces complete control over their visual and creative assets from organisation and tagging through to reusable campaign kits that bundle everything needed for a recurring campaign.
Summary
A media manager upgrade that introduces folders, tags, metadata, usage history, approval states, and reusable campaign asset kits making it significantly faster and more reliable for teams to find, reuse, and deploy the right assets across multiple accounts and platforms without hunting through an unstructured library.
Why This Matters
Teams spend a large amount of time hunting for the right assets before they can even begin drafting a post. A well-structured asset layer improves publishing speed, enforces brand consistency, and reduces the risk of expired, unapproved, or off-brand assets being used. For agencies managing multiple clients, this is a daily operational pain point that a better media manager solves entirely.
Proposed MVP
Folder tree for organising assets by client, campaign, platform, or content type
Tags and search filters for rapid asset discovery
Asset preview with metadata including upload date, file size, dimensions, and last used date
Usage history showing which posts an asset has appeared in
Approval states so assets can be marked as approved, pending review, or expired
Reusable campaign kits that bundle images, videos, captions, hashtags, and CTAs into a single deployable package
Asset expiration flags to automatically surface assets that should no longer be used
