Arbitary values as meta tags?

I would like to use arbitrary values. Such as:

<meta property="article:publisher" content="https://..." /> 

Could you make it work like this?

    article:publisher="https:..."
}}

Yeah I've been wanting to do this. I'm not sure if there are any security considerations here about giving users the ability to set certain tags. Eg. if one can set a google webmaster meta tag then they can gain access to Google's stats.

Perhaps I'll enable it as a configuration option which if off by default.

I see. An alternative might be to let the user configure what meta tags
may be set using a variable in LocalSettings.php.
