Missing EUVE data

Both 2005ApJ...625L..59D and 2001MNRAS.325.1500P are associated with an EUVE spectral observation of Capella -

The publications exist in euve.biblist.txt and map.euve.txt and there is a capella_9909080014N in obscore.euve.psv. I am guessing there's a problem since we have 1 or 2 underscores, but need to look into this further.

In the following, read_from_map reads in the obs_id values from map.euve.txt and read_from_obscore returns the obs_id column value from the obscore table:

If I match on just the last 11 characters then

a) there are multiple occurences, in obscore.euve.psv of 9812030115N and 9810110517N

This could be valid since we have for 9812030115N

Doing a MAST search around 08 41 03.60 +03 21 14.0 we find two obsid values:

2euve_j0841_03_3__9812261307N   date=1998-12-26 13:07:26  exp=57

These exp times are in kiloseconds, so the re_j0841_03__9812030115N, RE J0841+03 entry is presumably "garbage".

9810110517N looks to be similar -

The commit above is a hacky way to deal with this, and has it's own issues. For the record, here's the associated "rename" file (which is now on Dropbox):
