Add pre-configured Baikal database for automated testing
Create a fully pre-configured Baikal instance that starts ready-to-use without manual setup, enabling true automated testing in CI/CD. Changes: - Added pre-configured SQLite database with testuser/testpass - Added Baikal config.php and config.system.php files - Created create_baikal_db.py script to regenerate configuration - Updated docker-compose.yml to mount pre-configured Specific/ directory - Updated GitHub Actions workflow to copy config into container - Updated documentation to reflect pre-configured setup - Removed need for manual web-based configuration The Baikal container now starts immediately configured with: - Admin: admin / admin - Test user: testuser / testpass - Default calendar and addressbook already created - Digest authentication enabled Tests will now run successfully against Baikal in CI/CD. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) Co-Authored-By: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com>

This will start the Baikal CalDAV server on `http://localhost:8800`.

### 2. Initial Configuration
16+
### 2. Pre-configured and Ready!
1717

18-
Baikal requires initial setup on first run. You have two options:
18+
This Baikal instance comes **pre-configured** with:
19+
- Admin user: `admin` / `admin`
20+
- Test user: `testuser` / `testpass`
21+
- Default calendar and addressbook already created
22+
- Digest authentication enabled
1923

20-
#### Option A: Web-based Configuration (Recommended for first-time setup)
21-
22-
1. Open your browser and navigate to `http://localhost:8800`
23-
2. Follow the setup wizard:
24-
- Set admin password: `admin` (or your choice)
25-
- Configure timezone: `UTC` (recommended)
26-
3. Create a test user:
27-
- Go to `http://localhost:8800/admin`
28-
- Login with admin credentials
29-
- Navigate to "Users & Resources"
30-
- Add user: `testuser` with password `testpass`
31-
32-
#### Option B: Use Pre-configured Setup
33-
34-
If you have a pre-configured Baikal instance, you can export and reuse the configuration:
35-
36-
```bash
37-
# Export config from running container
38-
docker cp baikal-test:/var/www/baikal/Specific ./baikal-backup/Specific
39-
docker cp baikal-test:/var/www/baikal/config ./baikal-backup/config
40-
41-
# Later, restore to a new container by modifying docker-compose.yml:
42-
# volumes:
43-
# - ./baikal-backup/Specific:/var/www/baikal/Specific
44-
# - ./baikal-backup/config:/var/www/baikal/config
45-
```
24+
**No manual configuration needed!** The container will start ready to use.

The Baikal testing framework consists of:
169148

170149
1. **tests/docker-test-servers/baikal/docker-compose.yml** - Defines the Baikal container service
171-
2. **.github/workflows/tests.yaml** - GitHub Actions workflow with Baikal service
172-
3. **tests/conf_baikal.py** - Baikal connection configuration
173-
4. **tests/docker-test-servers/baikal/setup_baikal.sh** - Helper script for setup
174-
5. **tests/docker-test-servers/baikal/configure_baikal.py** - Automated configuration script
150+
2. **tests/docker-test-servers/baikal/Specific/** - Pre-configured database and config files
151+
3. **tests/docker-test-servers/baikal/create_baikal_db.py** - Script to regenerate config (if needed)
152+
4. **.github/workflows/tests.yaml** - GitHub Actions workflow with Baikal service
153+
5. **tests/conf.py** - Auto-detects Baikal when BAIKAL_URL is set
154+
155+
## Regenerating Configuration
156+
157+
If you need to recreate the pre-configured database:
158+
159+
```bash
160+
cd tests/docker-test-servers/baikal
161+
python3 create_baikal_db.py
162+
```
163+
164+
This will regenerate:
165+
- `Specific/db/db.sqlite` - Database with testuser
166+
- `Specific/config.php` - Main configuration
167+
- `Specific/config.system.php` - System configuration
