Bundle PIE with PHP

Investigate ways of bundling PIE with a PHP install.

While I think it would be great if I install PHP via brew that PIE is part of it. We at current state maybe can just extend the downloads page.

What about doing it the other way round?

I mean using a tool like static-php.dev and ship the PHAR right at compile-time manually.

It would allow being detached from official releases, and since it's a single binary, and this tool has other tooling to do it in CI, it could be published with multiple versions, or at least multiple targets.

(or you rewrite it in a non-PHP language and build it for all platforms, like with Go or Rust 😇 )

Edit: Oh, I saw the experimental 1.4.0-beta has it. That's exactly it, and it works 😅

Yep; that's something we're already experimenting with to solve that exact problem 😁
